In today's world where science and technology constantly change our lives, qualities expected from individuals have also been changing rapidly. Countries need creative individuals who observe the world with a critical point of view, use the information they learn in their everyday lives, and stand up in this world of competition. In order to educate individuals with these qualities, countries constantly make changes in their education programs, curriculums, and address new approaches to education. One of these new approaches is STEM education which emerged in 2001 with a very old history of development. STEM is an abbreviation of the words Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Although it is an abbreviation, STEM is an educational approach in which the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are integrated with everyday life and supported by 21st century life skills. Today, many countries support and provide STEM education in formal and informal learning environments. In this context, countries are doing serious work and projects to provide good STEM education to individuals. Despite the projects, studies and trainings, serious mistakes are made about STEM education and the program integration of STEM education is not achieved at the desired level. There are similar situations in our country as well. In our country, there are still mistakes made about STEM education and the integration into the education programs is not sufficient yet. The purpose of the congress is to emphasize on the topics "Enhancing the understanding of STEM education all across the country", "Raising the awareness of teachers and academicians about STEM", "Learning how to integrate the curriculum of STEM education" and "The importance of STEM education for our country". At the conclusion of the congress, a STEM Training Report on STEM training will be published. Briefly, in order to achieve these goals, the congress of "International STEM and Educational Sciences" will be held between 3-5 May 2018 in Mus Alparslan University. All of the STEM fields and educational sciences were included as subjects in this congress. Because STEM education is not only a field of study within the education faculty, it is an approach where all faculties are involved. In this context, the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the Faculty of Fine Arts, were also included in the congress.
